Defensive Player of the Week

Wow, so I actually predicted something right! I thought a UCLA defensive player might step up and win a conference honor this week and Trey Brown did just that. His two interceptions , a partially blocked punt, and 8 tackles earned him the honors. UCLA has had a conference honor in all 3 phases of the game (offense, defense, and special teams) and a player has earned an award in 4 of the 5 weeks. Ben Olson, Aaron Perez, Matt Slater, and now Trey Brown have all been given kudos for their performances.
